Children's Theater of Wellington

Dear Wonka Cast & Crew,

The show is moving along well. Everyone is working very hard, keep up the good work! ; )

Don't forget to study your lines and lyrics. 

We will be off book September 8th. = D

Next week there will be no rehearsal on Monday night--it's Labor Day! We will have full cast rehearsal on Tuesday night (no squirrels/bugs) and Thursday full cast WITH squirrels/bugs.

Parents of Oompas/Candy Kids/Squirrels/Bugs:

The following are items we will provide and things you will need to provide for your child. We have tried to keep costs minimal, but if is prohibitive, please let us know and we will work something out. Oompa outfits will cost around $15 each to purchase/make. We will order Oompa socks and hats as soon as we have everyone's $. We can't buy material for the Oompa pants until we have those items to match colors. WE NEED PARENTS TO HELP BACKSTAGE DURING REHEARSALS! There is a sign- up sheet in the auditorium. Thanks for all you do!

CANDY KIDS:

Bright LONG-SLEEVED solid colored shirt Jeans (black or blue) or matching leggings for girls Shoes that child can dance in (they will need white tennis shoes for Oompas, those would work fine)

OOMPA LOOMPAS

Brown tie-beanie hat (we will order) Brown/yellow striped socks (we will order) Brown turtleneck (you will provide; we will tell you where to purchase once we get socks and hats in) Brown/yellow jester pants (we will make--NEED MORE COSTUME VOLUNTEERS!) Yellow pom-pons for shoes and hat (we will pick up) Solid white tennis shoes (preferably that tie, we will attach pom-pons)

SQUIRRELS

Brown sweats (we will let you know where to purchase--let us know if you see any) OR White sweats which we will dye brown black tennis shoes or dance slippers Headbands with ears (we will make)
